Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals, 40th Match – Live Score Commentary

SRH against RR Who Will Win Today’s IPL 2021 Match 40 – September 27th, 2021?

Overview

SHR vs RR, are the two teams with the least to lose. SRH are on the verge of being knocked out of the competition, with only one win in nine games, and the least they can do now is ruin other teams’ parties. If they hoped that switching captains from David Warner to Kane Williamson in the middle of the season would help them, it hasn’t worked. Their bowling is still highly reliant on Rashid Khan, and their hitters are battling for runs as well. SRH failed to pursue 126 in a low-scoring match against Punjab Kings. Warner’s poor play and the fact has harmed them that the middle order has scarcely made an impact.

Sanju Samson’s lone hand in RR’s loss to DC was a similar instance. The top of the order performed admirably in a two-run triumph over PBKS, while the middle of the order struggled. In that regard, RR has yet to put in a complete performance, though they will be pleased with Mustafizur Rahman, Chetan Sakariya, and Kartik Tyagi’s pace trio’s efforts. A win over SRH will propel them into the top half of the table, up from seventh place currently. It’ll be sweet revenge after they squandered a chance to break into the top four against DC.

Head-to-head

On September 27, ipl 2021, the Sunrisers Hyderabad will face the Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. There isn’t much separating these two teams, as they’ve faced each other 14 times and have each won seven times. Rajasthan has won three of their last five games. Even in Dubai, where the two sides have met twice, they have split the wins.

What to anticipate?

On a sweltering day, with temperatures as high as 37 degrees, it should be a terrific pitch for batting. In their eight games in Dubai, Rajasthan has only won two.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Team News

In the game against PBKS, Khaleel didn’t appear 100 percent, but they said nothing. T Natarajan and Vijay Shankar are still in seclusion after T Natarajan tested positive for COVID. Following the loss of his father, Sherfane Rutherford, who had been brought in to replace Jonny Bairstow, returned home. SRH may bring in Jason Roy at the top and reinforce

their middle order with Virat Singh or Priyam Garg, as their star opener, David Warner, struggles for runs. Samson’s average in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have dropped to half of what it was in Sharjah, thus SRH will go after him early.RR’s hitters have a greater strike rate against fast bowlers, thus SRH’s pacers will want to slow things down and introduce Rashid early. Abdul Samad and another part-time slower bowler could bowl a few overs. Sandeep Sharma has dismissed Samson twice, so it’s hardly surprising that SRH is thinking about the match.

Rajasthan Royals’ Team News

Due to niggles, Chris Morris and Evin Lewis could not play against the Delhi Capitals. Both players may be available for Sunday’s match against SRH. When the two sides met before in India’s leg, RR’s strategy of playing out Rashid Khan and attacking the other bowlers worked well. By the 11th over, SRH had bowled Rashid out, and they posted over 200. In their rematch, they’ll try to follow the same method. Morris may return on tracks that help pace if they rested him for Shamsi in Abu Dhabi.

Did you know that?

Rajasthan’s pacers have taken 42 wickets in 2021, but their spinners have only taken 5. Sanju Samson’s average in Sharjah is 54, but his average in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is 21.73. In Hyderabad’s last four games versus Rajasthan, Manish Pandey has been the team’s leading scorer.
